Sir Ishmael's Driving School (SIDS) is one of the world's leading driving institutions, founded in Accra to open up practical driving education to all on equal terms. Today our outstanding research and innovative teaching drive road users' solutions to the world's major problems.
SIDS was founded in 2007 to open up driving education in Ghana to those who had been excluded from it - becoming the first institution in Ghana to organized free training for 'trotro' drivers on equal terms with the regular students in 2008.
Sir Ishmael's Driving School can be located at lapaz 2000 Nyamekye junction close to beige capital on the second floor. Sir Ishmael's Driving School is a private, not-for-profit, non-sectarian institution.
It is sponsored by Sir Ishmael's Foundation, a non-profit, publicly supported Ghanaian corporation. Neither Sir Ishmael's Driving School nor Sir Ishmael's Foundation has any political affiliation in Ghana or abroad. SIDS will work with all interested parties in achieving its educational mission.
Sir Ishmael's Driving School is sponsored by Sir Ishmael's Foundation, a non-profit, publicly supported Ghanaian corporation based in Accra, Ghana. The Foundation's efforts are led by an experienced Board of Trustees and Advisory Board composed of academic and industry representatives from Ghana who share a vision of establishing an institution that will train Africa's drivers.
